Young swimmers swapped their goggles for chefs hats on Tuesday on a visit to an Indian restaurant.
A group of 20 swimmers aged between nine and 14 from Deeping Swimming Club visited Maharanis restaurant in Deeping St James to get a cooking lesson and to learn about the Indian culture.
The half term trip was organised as a social activity for members of the club to give them a new and fun experience.
Swimming instructor Sharon Hall said: “They absolutely loved it. The children were laughing all the time.”
The children cooked naan bread from scratch and learnt about the spices that go into curries before getting to taste their efforts.
