Copthill School pupil Ciaran, nine, took part in the junior run and finished in 20mins 6s, while Caz ran the half marathon in 2hrs 29mins.

Caz, who runs Wildcats Theatre Acadmey, and her son both raised funds for the school’s charity branch Wildcats Foundation.

Mother-of-two Ashleigh, who works part-time at Knight Partnership in Stamford, finished the half marathon in 2hrs 17mins.

She was raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer as her own mother has been diagnosed with the disease.

Ashleigh beat her target of £600 and has now raised more than £750.

She said: “I would like to thank all who sponsored me, especially Knight Partnership and Stamford Cleaning Services for their kind donations.”
