THE 300th anniversary of the Mercury will be celebrated at a talk.
Secretary of the Mercury archive trust John Smith and local speaker Philippa Massey will be giving the illustrated talk called The Impact of the Stamford Mercury Over 300 Years on Thursday at 7.30pm at Stamford Arts Centre.
It follows a sell-out talk earlier this year.
Mr Smith will also receive his British Empire Medal before the talk.
