A TEAM of five men from a Bourne business are aiming to raise more than £3,000 for charity by undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge.

The team from Bourne Textile Services, made up of Richard Clark, David Bower, Tony Dewey, Tom Little and Luke Enderwick, will attempt to walk Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and then finish reaching the summit of Snowdon on June 10 to raise funds for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

Financial director David Bower said: “It is a very worthwhile cause and can really save lives.

“I am also connected with Bourne Rugby Club and we have had to use the air ambulance more than once.”

The team have been training in varying degrees in readiness for this trial.

Richard Clark, 47, said: “I had never walked like this before in my life. I don’t know why I am doing it but I have got a lot out of it already.”
