A BIG crowd enjoyed a fun dog show yesterday (Sunday).

Three Counties Dog Rescue, which is based in Bourne, held the dog show at Waterside Garden Centre in Baston. There was also a display by First Class dog agility team.

The dog show was judged by Rutland dog warden Barry Briggs and rock and roll star Vince Eager.

Gyll Mauchline, who runs Three Counties Dog Rescue, was delighted as the day raised £1,000 which will go towards veterinary costs.

She said: “It went extremely well and it was a glorious day which I think helped. Numbers were up on last year and I would like to thank everyone who attended and made the day such a massive success.”

Three Counties also received a Samsung Galaxy tablet from Tandem Solutions, which Gyll said was a “generous gesture”.
