A carol concert attended by a host of celebrities has sold out.
The concert, which raises vital funds for the NSPCC, takes place at All Saints Church in Oakham on Monday.
Tickets were due to be sold on the door but the event is at capacity with 400 tickets sold. Since its launch six years ago, the event has become the largest single fundraising event for the charity in the East Midlands.
During the service, there will be Christmas tales read by names such as Lars Tharp (BBC Antiques Roadshow), Nigel Colborn (BBS Gardeners’ World), Rosemary Conley (diet and fitness expert) and Peter Wheeler (Leicester Tigers).
Last year’s concert raised £17,000, which was raised through ticket sales and sponsorship. All the money raised goes towards projects for abused children in the region.
