Toilets in for revamp

TOWN centre toilets could be revamped as part of plans to increase tourism in the area.

Rutland County Council is submitting a bid to the Local Strategic Partnership for money for various projects to increase tourism in the county.

The bid amount has not yet been decided by the council.

Among the proposed projects are better signage for Uppingham and Oakham, improved public toilets in Uppingham, temporary displays for empty shops to make them look attractive and monthly events.
