Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses to a crash in which two 11-year-old girls were seriously injured after being hit by a minibus.
Emergency services were called to the incident at about 3.50pm on Tuesday last week when the vehicle collided with the girls on the A15 in Northorpe.
The two girls were airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where they remain in a critical but stable condition.
Yesterday, collision experts closed the road for half-an-hour to carry out a reconstruction of the crash in order to help them piece together the sequence of events.
Insp Simon Heads is investigating the incident and is urging anyone with information or anyone who saw the Renault minibus on the road prior to the collision to call police on 101 or the Lincolnshire Police Collision Witness Hotline on 01522 558855, quoting incident number 223 of January 7.
