A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a car span off a road at high speed.
The accident happened on the A6003 between Oakham and Manton just after 10.30am today (Friday).
An elderly man and woman were in the car and the woman was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with minor injuries. The man was unhurt.
Dr Leon Roberts and Dr Tim Gray of the East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme attended the scene along with helimedics from the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
Dr Roberts said the woman was stable, adding: “The car came of the road at quite high speed.”
