A MOBILE phone app has been designed to improve safety for motorbike riders.
The iBiker app was designed by Gurminder Marwaha, with the help of Lincolnshire County Council’s road safety team and allows bikers to watch videos of routes on their phone before they travel.
The videos, including routes through Stamford and Bourne, show key points and accident blackspots filmed by local police and offer advice on safety and riding technique.
It also allows users to upload their own videos and share points of interest.
Mr Marwaha, 34, from Cheshire, said: “Lincolnshire has great flat roads which are excellent for riding.
“Hopefully riders will use the app to plan their routes and ride safely in the county.”
