A man was airlifted to hospital after being crushed between a van and a wall.
The incident happened in London Road, Uppingham, at about 3pm today (Monday).
Dr Leon Roberts and Dr Tim Gray of East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme along with police, fire, and the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance were called to the scene.
The man, in his early 20s, was flown to University Hospital Coventry for treatment.
Dr Roberts said it was unclear how the man became trapped but added: “We were uncertain as to the severity of his injuries but we were sure that he needed to be in hospital quickly.”
