Police name teenage motorcyclist who died after a road accident in Horbling

A MOTORCYCLIST who died on Monday after being involved in a road accident in Horbling has been named as teenager Scott Blair.

Police were called to Sandygate Lane, Horbling, at about 4.15pm on Monday after reports of a collision between a red Fiat and a 200cc offroad motorbike.

Scott, 16, of Stow Lane, Horbling, was riding the motorcycle but had left the scene of the accident and returned home.

He later became ill and was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital where he died a short time later.

A statement from Scott’s family said: “Our little Scotty taken away so soon, our baby that held us all together.

“He is with his mummy now who he missed so much. Love you Bubbs.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to come forward and help them with their enquiries by calling 101 or contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
