A public meeting on plans to replace a level crossing, set for Friday (26 September) has been postponed.

Stamford and Bourne MP Nick Boles was due to chair a meeting at Tallington Village Hall.

The meeting would have addressed Network Rail’s plans to close the A1175 level crossing and replace it with a bridge.

The company has come up with two preferred options, neither of which village residents are keen on.

Due to the recall of Parliament Mr Boles has had to postpone his appearance.

The meeting has been rescheduled for 7.30pm on Thursday, 2 October.
