Tribute paid to Bourne man Michael Clark

TRIBUTE has been paid to a driver who was killed in a crash yesterday.

Michael Clark, 32, of Essex Way, Bourne, was driving a black Ford Mondeo when it left Deeping Road, close to its junction with Mile Drove, and crashed into a tree in the early hours of Monday.

Emergency services attended shortly before 4am, however he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

Mr Clark had been driving towards Peakirk. It is not known what time the collision occurred.

Investigating officer PC David Halling said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the vehicle prior to it leaving the road.”
