TWO initiatives are launching for young people.

Luke Denley, the youth outreach worker at Trinity Methodist Church in Barn Hill, Stamford, will launch the Legacy Youth Club on Wednesday, September 19, from 7.30pm until 9pm.

There will be sports, laptops with internet access, games and musical instruments. It is open to anyone at secondary school from Years 7 to 11 and there will be a charge of £1 per week.

Luke is also relaunching the work club on Tuesday from 1.30pm until 3pm at the church. The club was launched in March to help people aged between 16 and 24 with CVs, application forms and to give them interview practice. It is a free service.

A team of volunteers who have worked in a range of businesses and voluntary roles will be on hand to help.
