Television personality Johnny Vaughan dropped into rehearsals of a show in Uppingham on Sunday last week.
Super Duper is a family fun show and opens tonight at Uppingham Theatre.
During rehearsals on Sunday, the cast, which includes Rutland Times media sales consultant Janet Akar as Juliet, were thrilled to see Johnny, who gave the show his star seal of approval.
The show is set to a background of 1980s music and follows the romance of the King and his beloved Witchy.
The audience is encouraged to join in the fun by singing along or wearing appropriate fancy dress.
It is Halloween-themed and great fun for the October half-term break.
Performances take place at 7.30pm tonight, tomorrow and Saturday, and there will be an extra show at 2.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets are available on the door or in advance from Uppingham School book shop or www.wegottickets.com.
