A 47-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital after the crop sprayer he was driving overturned yesterday (Thursday).
The accident happened at about 12.45pm on the A6121 in South Luffenham.
Dr Leon Roberts, from East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme, an ambulance and a Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance were called to the scene. Fire crews from Oakham and Uppingham were also called.
The driver was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with injuries initially thought to be life-threatening. His condition is now stable.
The road reopened yesterday evening.
