A talented pooch won the hearts of millions of viewers after dancing on a television show.
Lucy Heath, 27, and her four-year-old border collie Indie, from Billingborough, appeared on ITV’s prime time show That Dog Can Dance! on Boxing Day.
The duo impressed a panel of celebrity judges made up of Sharon Osborne, Bill Bailey and Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashley and Pudsey.
Their routine set to the song Footloose even drew a standing ovation from Sharon Osborne, who was accompanied by her own dogs Bella and Rocky.
The winner of the show, which attracted 3.7m viewers, was decided by an audience vote. After finding out she was the victor, Lucy said: “It’s a dream come true.”
They won the chance to perform at Crufts, a dog friendly holiday and a generous supply of treats for Indie.
Lucy has been training her talented pooch Indie to dance since she first took her home as a puppy when she was eight weeks old and now the dog can perform a huge variety of tricks, including flips, jumps and walking backwards.
Lucy sent in a video of Indie dancing and the pair were invited to Essex for an audition before being put through to the final five.
