Video: Remembrance Sunday marked in Stamford and Deeping

Hundreds of people across the Stamford area came together yesterday on Remembrance Sunday to pay their respects to service personnel who have died during conflicts.

A service took place at the war memorial in Broad Street, Stamford, yesterday, led by the Rev Canon Dr Donald Gray, honorary chaplain of the Stamford Branch of the Royal British Legion.

Members of the Langtoft, the Deepings and Districts branch of the Royal British Legion paraded through Market Deeping from Rainbow car park to St Guthlac’s Church for a service at 10am.

Today (Monday), November 11, a two-minute silence was observed at Broad Street, Stamford, at 11am.
