PUPILS put their talents on show at a school’s summer fete on Saturday.
Children from Bourne Abbey Primary Academy entertained visitors this weekend, with the choir and orchestra performing alongside the finals of a talent show taking place.
As well as the traditional stalls and games at a summer fete, new this year were the hugely popular pony rides.
The strong turn out of visitors were able to view a Yardley Formula One car and take part in penalty shot out competition held by Bourne Town Juniors FC.
Business manager Jill Bates said: “It was a really happy day and there was a great atmosphere.
“We had to rearrange a lot of things because of the weather but everyone thought it was well worth the effort.”
The fete raised more than £2,000 which will pay for new outdoor play equipment.
