AN ELDERLY care charity has moved into four new rooms with the help of volunteer decorators.

The Evergreen Care Trust celebrated its sixth birthday last month by opening the new rooms in Stamford Hospital.

The rooms got a makeover from members of Stamford XT, which supports community projects and local charities.

Chief executive officer of the Evergreen Care Trust Louise Marsh said: “We are very pleased to be moving into another four rooms which were formerly bedrooms in the old nurses residence.

“Stamford XT have transformed the space and created a very pleasant working environment for the Evergreen team. We are all delighted and very grateful for their willingness to support the Evergreen Care Trust in this way.

“It is a real privilege to partner with community groups like Stamford XT.”
