Youngsters got a taste of the movies during a theatre school’s half-term workshop.

Wildcats Theatre School and Academy ran sessions for children of all ages from their home in St Peter’s Hill, Stamford.

Youngsters took park in workshops themed around Grease, the Litle Mermaid and Matilda.

They learned dance routines, sang songs from the films or musicals and took part in art and craft activities.

The Little Mermaid day involved designing a huge coloured mermaid, as well as dancing to “Under the Sea”.

Wildcats owner Caz Dolby, said: “We always like to offer a variety of activities for children of different ages. This half term we were able to offer a number of different workshops that developed children’s skills in musical theatre.

“We were also lucky enough to have our senior and academy Wildcats helping out throughout the week, developing their skills in teaching and working with children.”
