A THREE legged ferret has been reunited with its owners after more than a week.
Amy Reiter and her sons Finley, seven and five-year-old Frankie were growing increasingly concerned about their pet Wolfgang after he had escaped from their garden in Newstead Lane, Belmesthorpe, on January 14.
But Wolfgang was found three fields away snuggled up in a chicken coop by Chris Parsons and has been cared for since then by Kay Parker, who lives in Belmsthorpe.
Wolfgang, whose leg was amputated after being injured by a horse last summer, was reunited with the family thanks to publicity.
She said: “I am so grateful to everyone that has helped me.”
