CHILDREN honed their photography skills as part of a new school club.
Semi-professional photographer Tom Clare has set up the club for Year 6 pupils at Deeping St James Primary School in Hereward Way.
A studio has been set up in a classroom and the children have been learning new skills including how to adjust the lens and use the lighting to its best advantage on Nikon digital SLR cameras.
Tom has lent the cameras to the school and because of the success of the club, the school is now fundraising to buy its own equipment.
Tom said: “The children have really enjoyed developing new skills.
“We have been able to capture many different events in school including productions, performances and class workshop days.”
