There’s stacks of events going on over the jubilee weekend and here’s your complete guide to what’s going on and where.

Monday, June 4

BOURNE FESTIVAL - Celebrations continue on the Wellhead with an U18s Battle of the Bands competition in the afternoon and an Abba tribute night starting at 8pm.

BARNACK AND PILSGATE - A second day of events at the cricket ground, start at 1.30pm with a whole village photo, followed by a fun afternoon including an aerobatics display by a Spitfire. From 6pm there will be a hog roast and live music with a disco, adults £4, children £2, under 11 free. The night will reach a climax with fireworks and the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon from 9.45pm.

CARLBY - Pageant and parade, 11.30am with a picnic on the village green. Balloon launch with a commemorative tree planting, afternoon games on the playing field at 2.30pm and Royal Pub Night in the village hall. Exhibition of royal memorabilia, contributed by villagers, in village hall.

WELDON - A day at the races themed tea party, Weldon Village Hall. Jubilee parade from the war memorial at midday led by the Weldon’s queen for the day. A beacon will be lit on the village green in the evening.

UFFINGTON - Scarecrow fair with quiz sheets, stickers and route map of the scarecrow decathlon. Also indoor craft market, farm corner, classic cars, tractors and motorcycles, pony rides, bouncy castles and traditional games. www.uffington.org.uk Open from 11am-4pm, admission £5 including family car parking.

UFFINGTON - Car boot, set up at 9am, public 10am. Prebooked £5, on day £7. Contact 01780 751762

NORTH LUFFENHAM - Scarecrow competition run by the gardening club on the Oval from 1pm. Open to anyone. Cash prize. Scarecrows to be staged between 11am - midday. Last day to enter register today (Friday), ring Nicki Ferguson on 01780 720793.

DEEPING GATE - Garden party and picnic for residents, family and friends, 3-5pm, Maxey House Residential Home from 3–5pm. Musical entertainment, raffle, crafts and games, painting competitions, refreshments.

STAMFORD - The Big Lunch 2012. Free multi-cultural food and community event 10am-4pm, Picnic in the Park with live bands and fireworks from 5.30-10.30pm, Stamford Meadows.

LAXTON - Village fete with stalls, refreshments, children’s games, vintage tractors, display of sports cars, jubilee cake, 2.30-4.30pm, the village green.

MORCOTT - Family day involving all ages, with activities in and around Morcott Village Hall. Procession from The White House at 11.30am. The final event of the day will be a free disco at the White Horse from 8.30pm.

MORCOTT - Jubilee lunch dependant on the weather, Walnut Tree Farm, Station Road, Morcott, £8 per person between the age of 11 and 75, others will be £5. Lunch tickets available from Sharon Walker on 747429.

MARKET DEEPING - Jubilee Family Fun Day and picnic in the park at John Eve Field from midday to midnight. Bar, children’s races, tug of war at 1pm and 4pm and beacon lighting at 10pm. Everyone welcome.

MANTHORPE (TOFT) - Parish party 2.30pm on the Jubilee playing field.

DEEPING ST JAMES - A jubilee beacon will be lit in with an accompaniment by Spalding Brass Band.

GRETTON - Street party with fancy dress, entertainment, music, refreshments, midday-6pm, Kirby Road, Gretton. Everyone welcome. www.grettonstreetparty.com

SOUTH WITHAM - Final day of flower festival at South Witham Church from 10am – 4pm.

HARRINGWORTH - Jubilee party opposite the church, 2.15-5pm jubilee party including children’s games.

GLINTON - Activities Day. Lunch in village hall, midday, followed by stalls and activities on school field and evening party in village hall.

ETTON Golden Pheasant - Music Festival 1pm in aid of Help for Heroes. Lloyd Watson, Pennyless, Murray Hockridge, The Malingerers, The Collaborators and Ben performing + children’s rides, stalls, bouncy castle.

LANGHAM - Tree planting in the Woodland area next to the playground and a jubilee photo of the villages Born and Bred, starting at 11.30am.

MARHOLM - From 2.30pm - barbecue, treasure hunt, scarecrow competition, village safari, jazz in rectory garden, royal memorabilia and history exhibition, children’s activities, Pimms and cake, stalls. Beacon lighting and royal toast 10pm.

WING - to view the floral decorations in honour of the Queen’s Jubilee in the little Church of St Peter & St Paul during the Bank Holiday weekend - Saturday, Sunday and Monday between midday and 5pm.

STRETTON - jubilee beacon lighting, first field on the right in Stocken Hall Road going towards Stocken, from 6pm. The beacon will be lit at sunset, 9.20 pm, the field will open from 6pm and villagers are invited to come along and bring a picnic. Barbecues are welcome. Footballs, cricket stuff, frisbees can also be brought along.

WELLAND VALLEY - Twelve hour cascade of church bells ringing down the length of the Welland valley, starting at 9am. The bells will chime at Gretton from 2pm, crossing the area to Stamford at 4.20pm and leaving the area via Deeping St James at 7pm.

OUNDLE - Party in the Park, opening of a new pocket park with children’s rides, food stalls, bands and surrounding schools taking park from 2-8pm.

COLLYWESTON - From 3pm onwards. May pole dancing, games and a barbecue at Collyweston Slater in Main Road. At 7.30pm the village historical society will give a talk on kings and queens in the pub and at 10.26pm the village beacon will be lit.

EASTON-ON-THE-HILL - Royal Beer, Cider and Perry Festival with barbecue all day at The Blue Bell. In the evening Red, White and Blues music and the jubilee beacon will be lit with a fireworks finale. Dress code for all Red, White and Blue.

RUTLAND WATER - Jubilee Regatta and holiday fun extravaganza. See Saturday.

RIPPINGALE - Lighting of a jubilee beacon on the playing field at 10.15pm. Before there will be a special village walk and a cold buffet in The Bull.

BOURNE - Fashion stalls from the past 60 years on the Recreation Ground.

BOURNE - Jubilee exhibition at Baldock’s Mill, South Street from 2pm-4pm daily until June 10.

WITTERING - A hog roast, bouncy castle and disco and free drinks for children on the playing field.

ELTON - Last week’s Mercury contained incorrectly stated that admission to Elton Hall gardens would be free and open to all. In fact entry for this event is by ticket only and is restricted to Elton residents, including their families and friends. No free admittance otherwise.

Normal opening hours for the general public to the house and gardens are Sunday and Monday 2pm to 5pm.

OAKHAM - Jubilee car boot at Burley Road Car Park, next to Cutts Close, Oakham. Booters can set up from 8.30am and will run from 10am to 1pm. Charge to vendors of £5 per car and £10 for vans or trailers.

OAKHAM - Giant street party from 1pm, Cutts Close. Fling wet sponges at well known local celebrities in charity stocks; live music by Wrinkle Rock more than 30 stalls and free amusements.

STAMFORD - Royal Street Party in Ermine Way, Stamford, from midday until 5pm (Residents only).

BOURNE - Tea party at Bourne Outdoor Pool in Abbey Road, Bourne, from 4pm.

BARNACK - Memorial Tree Planting when oldest and youngest representatives from Barnack and Pilsgate plant a diamond jubilee memorial tree at the war memorial green at midday (Residents only).

GREAT CASTERTON - (Continued from Saturday) Jubilee flower party in Great Casterton village church.

BARNSDALE - Tea and ticket package when visitors to Barnsdale Gardens can enjoy entry to the gardens plus cake and tea or coffee in the tea room for £8.50 per person.

RIPPINGALE - Jubilee quiz at Rippingale Village Hall with questions on a “noughties” theme, bar and raffle. Doors open at 7pm.
