I would like to thank everyone for the respect and kindness shown to me when my Dandie Didmont terrier Mischief was knocked over and killed on the A43 near Wothorpe Woods, on Thursday, May 1.
My particular thanks to the young man who stopped and picked up my dog in a blanket and laid it in my car.
My dog had spent three hours hunting and died happily doing the thing she loved.
I felt so sorry for the lady driver who hit Mischief, she was not to blame. The dog was doing what she was bred for, and ran out into the road.
