A charity zumbathon has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
More than 85 people, including about 20 children, attended the three hour dance marathon event held at the Elsea Park Community Centre in Bourne last Friday.
The event was organised by Sainsbury’s store trainer Jacqui Chadwick, along with zumba instructor Sofia Silva Medd, to raise money for the supermarket’s chosen charity Lives First Responders.
Through entry fees and the raffle the event raised £678 after the costs were taken out.
Jacqui said: “Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and there were people dancing for the full three hours.
“I was ecstatic during the course of the night with how many people were in the hall.
“They came from all over and each one of them made a difference.”
