COTTESMORE Amateurs will have joint managers for the 2008/2009 season with Steve Duffy and John Morton taking the reins.
The Rogues Park club's first team will play at a higher standard next season having been moved to the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division following a restructure of the non-league pyramid.
Duffy and Morton now have the challenge of attrac
ting players to ensure Amateurs remain at their new level having finished in the relegation zone, winning just five of their 30 Division One games last season.
Morton makes a welcome return to the Rutland club having spent recent seasons with Bourne Town and Asfordby Amateurs.
Barry Suggett, who took charge of the first team for much of last season, returns to his role as reserve team manager. The club are looking to appoint an assistant to Suggett.
Barry Brown continues in his role as youth team manager having guided the side to an impressive third-placed finish in their Floodlit League last season.
Training and coaching sessions will be taken by Rob Lewin with the help of Richard Giblin, with both fully qualified.
Pre-season training begins on Tuesday at Rogues Park with another session on Thursday.
Any players interested in joining the Amateurs at U18 or adult level for the coming season should go along to the sessions which start at 6.30pm.
The adult season is due to begin in late August with the Under 18 side kicking off in early September.
