A FOOTBALL programme collector is hoping Stamford Town and Bourne fans can help him in his quest for Daniels and Wakes match day magazines.
Steven Harding, of Stanground, Peterborough, has been collecting programmes for 25 years and is particularly keen to get hold of pre-1965 Stamford and Bourne magazines - offering to pay good money.
He recently bought a Daniels programme from a match against Wisbech in the United Counties League, played on January 31, 1948.
He said: "It is an eight-page programme printed on pink paper and priced at 3p in old money.
"I have seen other Stamford programmes from the 1950s but this is the oldest I have seen."
Steve also owns a Bourne programme from the Bourne Hospital Cup Final played against Chesterfield on May 8, 1948, again printed on pink paper but only four pages and costing two pence in old money.
He added: "I've seen other Bourne Hospital Cup programmes but I'd love to hear from anyone who can help me in my quest for more."
If you can help Steve call him on 07944588908.
