THE Daniels have joined forces with New College Stamford as they look to continue to expand their youth policy.
The club will be running sides at Under 8s, 11s, 12s, 14s and 16s next season in addition to the current Northants Floodlit League youth team.

And, with the College side topping East Midlands Division One South of the British Colleges Sport League
, they have added another string to their bow.

College manager Justin Osborne explained that the focus will now be to build on the current team with the additional benefit of a partnership with Stamford.

He said: “We have settled well in the league and this season’s team is a relatively young side with most of the squad still able to play for another year.

“We want to build on the current team and are also aiming to work together with the Daniels for the possible progression of some players that show the makings of being able to play at a higher leve.”

Osborne and assistant manager James Suffling have both now successfully completed their FA level two coaching certificates.

Osborne is also undertaking the level three UEFA B course in June which will enable the College to attain the charter standard club mark for colleges.

Trials will be held in early September to decide on the squad for the new season.
