DEEPING Rangers' UCL Premier Division title hopes suffered a setback after a 3-1 home defeat against Newport Pagnell on Saturday.
A run of 11 games without defeat has now seen Newport emerge as genuine contenders for honours after the Swans' first Outgang Road success in seven top flight attempts.

Ryan Semple's 14th goal of the season gave Rangers a 13th minute lead, but Pagnell produced a positive response.

James Fletcher equalised after 31 minutes and the Swans went ahead five minutes before the interval through Danny Nicholls.

The outcome remained in the balance until Matt Broomes sealed a vital victory for Newport a minute from the end.
