DEEPING Rangers midweek under 18s took the derby plaudits as they saw off rivals Bourne Town at Outgang Road on Wednesday.
Andy Goodliffe's brace and a Lewis Godfrey effort, all in the first half, were enough for Andy Moore's side to take all three Ridgeons Youth League West Division points from a match they dominated.
It was Rangers second win of the season and their first since their opening match 7-0 hammering of Somersham.
The victory moves Rangers to sixth after four matches.
Blackstones thumped Chatteris 6-2 at Lincoln Road to move top of the West Division.
A hat-trick from Wilson, who has scored five goals in five games, along with Max Webb's fifth of the season and strikes from Cotton and Oliver handed Stones their fifth victory and maintained their perfect start to the season.
Rangers face unbeaten Stotfold at Outgang Road on Wednesday (7.45pm) with the reverse fixture the following Wednesday (October 22).
Blackstones are without a match next week before a derby with Bourne at Lincoln Road on October 22.
