BOURNE Town won for the first time since the opening day of the UCL Premier Division season with an emphatic 4-1 home win over Potton on Saturday.
A 27th minute Sam Kirton goal had Bourne ahead at the break and Keith Gray gave the Wakes breathing space after 67 minutes and Kirton's second atrike eight minutes later all but sealed the win.

Tom Beech reduced the arrears 10 minutes from time, but Potton's hopes of a fightback were quashed three minutes later when Daniel Bent scored Bourne's fourth goal.

The victory moved Bourne off the foot of the table and level on points with third-bottom Rothwell Corinthians.
