Bourne’s Rich leads the bank team home

Bourne Town Harrier Rich Lomas-Brown ran for Lloyds Banking Group in the Inter Financial Services Cross Country Championships at Richmond Park recently.

Loams-Brown was first home for the Lloyds team, made up of athletes from across the company including Halifax for whom he works.

A Harriers team travelled to Nottingham for round three of the North Midlands Cross Country league on Saturday with seniors and juniors racing.

Beth Howells was 26th in the U15girls race, Karen Clark was 64th Senior Woman, and Joe Howells 20th in the U17men’s category.

In the men’s race Shaun Hill was 127th, ahead of Tony Gilbert 134th, Tim Wigley 142nd, Phil Galpin 150th, Mick Howells 160th, Rob Caven 162nd and Mark Ellison 163rd.

In the U13 girls race, Megan Ellison was 17th, Keeley Caven 44th and Leah Clark 45th. Ethan Ellison was 13th in the U11 boys race.

Bourne Town Harriers main club training sessions is on Tuesdays from 6.30pm with junior training on Fridays from 6pm to 7pm. For more details visit www.bournetownharriers.org.
