An extremely disappointing nine-man Grantham turned up to face Billingborough on Saturday and went away with nothing.
Billingborough won the toss and elected to field first which was the right decision in a quick game which earned them 20 points.
It took 34 overs to bowl out Grantham for a poor 91 with both Roy Tilley and Dan Duke claiming four wickets a piece. Roy’s figures were standing 12-6-18-4
Matthew Wing was the only player trying to hit the ball, with some not so orthodox across the line hitting, he finished on 45* off 69 balls.
Billingborough were in no mood to hang around and took only 12 overs to win the game, finishing on 93-1. Geordie Scott smashed 57* off 39 balls
Billingborough now need 56 points from their remaining five games to retain the title. They play away at Boston on Sunday.
