Nets sessions are under way

JUNIOR training has begun with indoor coaching in the nets at Witham Hall School for Bourne Cricket Club’s youngsters.

The U10/11s and U12/13s had their first sessions on Sunday and the U14/15s and U16/17s follow suit this weekend. Training begins at 4.30pm.

The age groups alternate weeks, training fortnightly.

Bourne’s U9s, who play with a softball also begin their training on Sunday with a 3pm start.

Players of all age groups should wear clean trainers, bring their own refreshments and £2 to cover costs.

l DEEPING’S junior nets start this weekend with the club’s U9s in winter nets at Market Deeping Leisure Centre on Sundays from February 12 until March 31.

Session are between 10am and 11am and the cost is £15,

Players from the U11 age group upwards have their nets on Saturday mornings at Stanground School from February 18 through until March 31 (10-11am). Cost is £18.
