Blackstones ended a run of seven straight defeats and moved off the foot of the United Counties League Premier Division with a 3-2 victory at Quorn this afternoon.
Robbie Pearce, Addie Staffieri and Sam Bettinson were on target for Stones, who move three places up the table with today's win. Their next game is at home to Sleaford Town on Wednesday evening. Kick off at Lincoln Road will be at 7.45pm.
Fourth-placed Deeping Rangers drew 1-1 at top-of-the-table St Ives with Dave Burton-Jones on target for Rangers.
The result leaves Deeping, who play Spalding at home on Tuesday, in fourth place in the UCL Premier Division.
The Wakes ended a dismal run of five defeats in the UCL First Division with a point at Oadby Town.
Bourne held the top side to a goalless draw - the first time any side has taken a point from Oadby all season. Bourne play Bugbrooke St Michaels away next Saturday.
