LANGTOFT United chairman Barry Woodthorpe has his sights set on a double promotion.
United moved to the top of the Peterborough and District League First Division on Saturday, thumping FC Inter 5-1 at home.
Langtoft’s reserves are also top of division three and between them, the sides have lost just two games in 32 matches.
Woodthorpe said: “This is a club record. I just hope it ends with both teams getting promoted.”
It started badly for the first team on Saturday when Inter took an early lead. But United hit back with a equaliser from Modesto Santanielio.
Dan Morris then hit a superb volley for Langtoft to go in at half time 2-1 ahead.
They applied more pressure on Inter in the second half and goals from John Armstrong, Aaron Morton and a second for Morris secured the three points.
