Daniels have a great choice of candidates
Daniels chairman Chris Rivett says the club already has an excellent list of candidates to become the next Stamford AFC manager.
Board members met on Thursday evening and are hoping to make an appointment in early January.
Stamford’s chairman said: “We have more than 20 people who have contacted us about the vacancy.
“We have met as a board of directors and discussed the profile of what we feel the successor should have and the objectives on the field this season and next.
“We have asked David Staff to look after the team for Boxing Day and January 29th and in between those performances we will interview a shortlist of candidates. We will then look to appoint somebody in early January.”
He added: “It’s an exciting time. We have had a real variety interested in the role and I am pleased to say that will have a very strong shortlist.”
