Deeping went back to the top of the ChromaSport and Trophies United Counties League Premier Division on Saturday with a 6-1 win over Long Buckby at home at Outgang Road.
Tuncay Korkmaz’s men fell behind early only for Mitch Grifftihs to equalise almost immediately, but Deeping had to wait until the final half-an-hour to take command.
After the break Josh Moreman fired Deeping ahead before a brace of goals from Matt Heron and strikes from substitutes Alex Beck and Ondre Odain completed a thumping success.
The victory moved Rangers a point clear of title favourites Spalding who beat Olney 3-0 in the League KO cup on Saturday.
Rangers will play their cup fixture on Tuesday night at 7.45pm when they take on Peterborough Sports.
