Stamford AFC have confirmed the signing of top-rated striker Ryan Robbins from Colaville Town.
The explosive talent rattled in 25 league goals for the Ravens last season as they led Evo Stik League, Division One for much of the season.
In total, Robbins scored 34 goals in 48 appearance in all competitions – and looks to be the perfect foil for fellow striker Jordan Smith.
It looked as though Robbins would be joining King’s Lynn in the close season – but after receiving abuse from some Lynn and Coalville fans he was looking to play elsewhere.
Signing for Stamford has delighted boss David Staff who said: “Ryan has come along to add some dynamism to our forward line.
“He has some assets which will develop us in forward areas.
“ He knows a couple of players at the club and so it should be easy to integrate him into the squad.
“He will be available for Saturday.”
Stamford kick off their Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division season against Frickley Athletic at home on Saturday.
