FOOTBALL: Rutland pair win on the road

OAKHAM United and Uppingham Town both picked up three points away from home in the Peterborough and District League this afternoon.

OAKHAM beat Whittlesey Blue Star 3-2 ahead of Tuesday's Leicestershire County cup tie at Aylestone, while Town picked up a good 2-0 win at Leverington Sports.

Callum O'Berg and Martin Turiccki were on target for Uppingham.
