Deeping Rangers maintained their outstanding record away at Desborough Town with a tight 1-0 victory in the UCL Premier Division One Saturday.
The match was just Deeping’s second league game of the month, after a cup games and a rest weekend had kept them away from the league.
Their last outing in the UCL Premier Division was the thumping 8-1 away win at Harborough Town.
On Saturday both goalkeeper were influential early on and had to be at their best to keep the score at 0-0.
However after 20 minutes Scott Ginty scored the only goal of the game to give his side victory, which was the sixth time Rangers have won at Waterworks Field in the last seven seasons.
Rangers are now 10th in the league.
Their attention return to the cup on Saturday when they face Wivenhoe Town at home in the FA Vase.
Deeping Rangers Reserves lost 4-1 to an impressive Oakham United side in the PDFL Premier on Saturday, however not before they took a shock lead through Casey Lewis who scored a brilliant breakaway goal.
But the Rutland side came back to win after scoring through: Seb Archer-Fern, Benjamin Cox, Rik Phoenix and Liam Mullineaux.
