JOHN Hoyles hit a hat-trick as Ketton fought back from a goal down to beat Ketton on Saturday.
The joint-manager levelled and then gave Ketton the lead before half time. He then added a third after the break before Alex Collyer’s strike sealed the points.
Hoyle’s fellow joint boss, Alex Griffin, said: “The third was really an innocuous deflection off his chin but the other two were proper goals, from excellent crosses by Matthew Woodman.
“Alex’s was a good goal, finishing off a good move.”
After going in 2-1 ahead at the break, Griffin said he was confident would secure the win and said: “We had done the hard work so it was a matter of getting the third to give us a cushion. Once we had the third we were pretty much in cruise control.”
Ketton face second and third-placed Langtoft and Stilton in their next two matches and Griffin added: “It will be a good test of where we really are, These are a couple of big games.”
