Stamford AFC have appointed former Bedworth United manager Steve Farmer as head coach.

Farmer guided Bedworth to the club’s first ever promotion as a semi-professional club in his first year at the helm. However, after just one season in the Southern League Premier, they were relegated on goal difference in the season just completed.

Stamford football Director Guy Walton said: “We are delighted Staffy has secured Steve’s coaching services and look forward to pre-season in preparation for this season’s tough challenge of Evo-Stik Premier Division football.”
