Recent signings Ben Saunders and Jordan Hempenstall were on target as The Daniels beat Brigg Town 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Andy Hall was also on target, scoring Stamford’s second from the penalty spot after 73 minutes.
Stamford took the lead 23 minutes into the first half with Ben Saunders scoring his first league goal since joining from Grantham.
Substitute Hempenstall added gloss to the victory with the Daniels’ third in second half stoppage time.
Before that both sides had been reduced to 10 men with Rotherham United loanee Mitchell Rose seeing Red for Stamford.
The win leaves Stamford in second place in the Evo-Stik League First Division South. They remain 14 points adrift of leaders Coalville Town but are well-placed in the battle for the four play-off spots, 11 points ahead of sixth-placed Halesowen Town.
Stamford’s next match is at Carlton Town on Saturday.
