Daniels boss Wayne Hatswell says back-to-back home ties provide the perfect opportunity for his side to bounce back from their 2-1 loss at Sheffield.
Stamford take on bottom-of-the-table Hucknall Town tomorrow evening and then host another of the sides in the bottom third, Rainworth, on Saturday, and Hatswell wants six points from those games.
“It was very disappointing on Saturday,” said Hatswell.
“Now we have a chance to redeem ourselves. I expect maximum points from games at home against two sides that have been struggling.”
Stamford’s loss at Sheffield, coupled with results elsewhere, has tightened up the fight for the play-off spots in the Evo-Stik League First Division South where Stamford head a group of four chasing two spots.
“It is still in our hands,” added the Stamford boss.
“On our day we can beat anyone - we have proved that - but we have to go into games with the right attitude.”
Several more team changes have been forced on Hatswell for both games with Tom Batchelor suspended against Hucknall and skipper Richard Jones due to miss the Rainworth game and the match at Halesowen the following Tuesday.
Midfielder Liam Richardson has been returned to Corby but James Ozmen, who has been out of action with an ankle injury is back in contention for a place in midfield.
Kick off against Hucknall on Tuesday is at 7.45pm; and against Rainworth on Saturday at 3pm.
