Stamford can close the gap on the top three in the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division tonight as third-placed Buxton visit the Vic Couzens Stadium (October 7, 7.45pm kick off)

The Daniels are in fifth place, five points behind Buxton. They go into the match on the back of a fine win at Frickley.

Spalding also have a tough test in Division One South. Third-placed Gresley are the visitors to the Sir Halley Stewart Field.

First Division sides Bourne and Blackstones are in United Counties League KO Cup action this evening and both will be underdogs. Biurne host top-flight Thurnby Nirvana, whole Blackstones travel to Raunds who are third in Division One.

The Lincs Cup tie between Harrowby United and Deeping Rangers scheduled for tonight has been postponed.
