THE Daniels moved joint top of the Evo-Stik League’s First Division South for at least 24 hours courtesy of a 4-2 home victory against Coalville yesterday evening.

Stamford are level on points with top side Ilkeston who play at Carlton Town this evening.

Recent signing Bruno holden bagged his first hat-trick for the club, scoring twice in the space of six minutes in the first half and the former Brigg Town striker completed his triple in the 67th minute.

Miles Chamberlain added Stamford’s third in the 37th minute to give the Daniels a 3-0 half-time lead.

Chris Gumery and Cameron Stuart scored for the visitors in the second half.

Stamford travel to Brigg Town on Saturday. The next game at the Premier Kitchens Arena is against current leaders Ilkeston, on December 3 when a packed stadium is expected.
