The honours were even in Oakham United’s Chromasport and Trophies Peterborough League Premier Division clash with Pinchbeck United.

A hard-fought gamed finished 2-2, with Oakham’s goals coming through Will Lee in the 26th minute and Michael Nelson in the 70th.

At the top end of the league Uppingham Town drew 1-1 at home to Leverington Sports Football Club.

The visitors went ahead through a goal from Darren Jimson. But Uppingham kept their unbeaten run alive when they evened the scores through an Andrew Sayers free-kick.

Town currently sit third in the league with four games in hand on leaders King’s Lynn Town Reserves.

Cottesmore AFC drew 0-0 with Kirby Muxloe on Saturday.
